Welcome to my website,

Studio Bas Sala is a design agency in Rotterdam. I design and realize innovative projects in public spaces, products, and interiors. Interactivity and design research play an important role in my work.

The designs invite you to sit, play, think, do nothing, and often evoke a smile. Interdisciplinary collaboration (with professionals and non-professionals) and high-quality products play a central role in my work. Many of the projects are self-initiated and focus not only on the physical design but also on how they are used and how they can have added value other than financial. I work partly autonomously as an artist. However, I also work as an applied designer for clients.
